My work addresses problems related to the future of energy and electronics through the design and discovery of new advanced materials. This covers a broad range of topics, including research on batteries, photo-voltaic materials, quantum computing, and nano-electronic devices. Because of the ban, I cannot participate in any form of scientific collaboration in the US, which severely limits the scope of my potential contributions to the scientific community. Many scientific discoveries and achievements that are fundamental to modern life are consequences of direct collaborations and knowledge sharing.
