I am a postdoctoral fellow working on development of new techniques and biomaterials for treatment of dental implant infections. The ban prevents me from attending the biggest international dental conference that will be held in San Francisco on March 22-25th. I was going to present my research work to the experts in the dental field. We have developed a new innovative biomaterial for cleaning dental implants as a part of my PhD research at McGill. This conference is also a great opportunity to meet investors and discuss possibilities for its commercialization with potential partners.
